Our Anzac Biscuits Recipe





Anzac Biscuits
1 Cup of Rolled Oats
1 Cup of Plain Flour, Sifted
1 Cup of Raw Sugar
¾ Cup of Desiccated coconut
150g butter or margarine
2 tablespoons golden syrup
2 tablespoons boiling water
1 ½ teaspoons bicarbonate of soda

1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl, then melt butter and syrup in a saucepan (I used the microwave)

2. Mix boiling water and Bicarbonate of soda together. Blend into butter mixture, pour over dry ingredients Mix well.

3. Place teaspoon of mixture onto lightly greased baking trays (or use
Baking paper) Allow room for spreading.

4. Bake in a slow oven (150°C) for 15-20 minutes. Loosen whilst warm.
Cool on trays for 5 minutes, transfer to a wire rack. Store in an airtight
Container.
